Job Title: Senior Production Operative - Nights
Hours: 10pm-6am Monday-Friday + OT

Department: Factory
Reports to: Production Team Leader
My client is currently seeking two Senior Production Operatives to join them on a full-time permanent basis working night shift hours based close to Ashford.
The role of Senior Production Operative incorporates supervisory responsibilities.
Good Manufacturing Practice Champion.
Working on the Print floor, SCAD, operating system, general porter duties on the packing lines.
Train-coach and monitor the performance and compliance of Production Operatives & Agency Staff.
Champion continuous improvement in thefactory including Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
Ensure and maintain quality of the product.
Constantly strive to increase operational performance.
Personally adhere to all prescribed working practices to ensure that the factory operates to the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency possible.
Personally comply with all policies, procedures, and risk assessments relevant to role and responsibilities.
Implement effective corrective actions to address any shortcomings in the performance of Production Operatives & Agency Staff in a timely manner (If unable to resolve the issue escalate to Team Leader - Shift Manager)
Operating electric counterbalance forklift truck within a factory environment.
Reach Truck license is desirable
Computer literate.
