Reporting Line:

The Project Planner will report directly to the Senior Project Planner.

Role:

The Project Planner will work with Well-Safe Project & Operations teams, implement robust plans that capture key activities and timelines to facilitate efficient and effective delivery of operational scopes and projects.

Key responsibilities: The Project Planner will be required to:
  • Consulting with Well-Safe Project Manager, Well Engineering team and client team to create and maintain project plans and schedules across Well-Safe projects, and assets, including resource requirements in alignment with the Well Decommissioning Delivery Process (WDDP).
  • Coordinating project timelines with internal Well-Safe teams and external stakeholders to communicate asset availability and deliverables.
  • Analysing operational daily and weekly plans, to ensure execution logic and identifying areas of efficiency or risk.
  • Managing change and updates to project schedules, ensuring they are accurate and reflect current project status.
  • Evaluating performance against baseline plans and preparing project progress reports to relevant departments and stakeholders.
Key outcomes:
  • Project schedule style and delivery compliant with stakeholder requirements.
  • Efficient Asset and resource allocation across project and operational teams.
  • Understanding of risk and opportunity for planned activity.

Full responsibility for all operational activities within the philosophies and constraints laid out in the job description.

Knowledge & Competency:
  • Knowledge and use of planning software such as MS Project/ Primavera
  • Self-starter who uses their initiative
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate data.
  • Ability to prioritise and identify upcoming problems/ schedule constraints.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative approach to delivery
  • Previous experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.
