The client is a successful blue-chip chemical manufacturer based in Kingston Upon Hull.
Job Description
The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:
* Lead Reliability Centred Maintenance and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to determine equipment functionality, capability, probability of asset failure and provide mitigation strategies* Support in asset critically assessments of existing and new assets to prevent repeat failures
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to provide guidance on maintenance repairs and production to update on estimated down time
* Work in collaboration with the business' Centre of Excellence to ensure best practice maintenance techniques and technologies are embedded
The Successful Applicant
The successful Mechanical Reliability Engineer will have:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering subject - in place of a degree (HNC/HND) or equivalent qualification anddemonstrated relevant experience
* Able to work safely and embed a strong safety culture
* Understanding of predictive maintenance technologies and analytics
* Experience working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Ability to identify and resolve the Root Causes of Asset failure
* Experience from a heavy industrial processing background (e.g. Chemicals, Biofuels, Oil and Gas etc.)
