Job Description

Network Security Engineer - Inside IR35 - London - Hybrid - Specialty Insurance - 3-6 months

Network Security Engineer is sought by a leading Specialty Insurer in London. My client are on an exciting Technology Transformation journey and as part of the changes, they are seeking to improve and maintain a secure Network environment.

As a Specialist, you will be required to provide hands-on support across multiple technologies, along with managing 3rd Party suppliers. You will be integral in guiding the business through smart Network Security solutions and ensuring swift resolutions to incidents/issues and enhancing the Network Security Infrastructure

*Please note, this role will be Hybrid - candidates will be on-site 2x per week*

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance Web Gateway proxies, with a preference for expertise in Mcafee/Trellix.
  • Manage and optimize Checkpoint firewalls, Cloudguards, VPNs, Remote access, and IPS systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in diverse network technologies, including Cisco routing and switching (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
  • Uphold InfoSec Security principles and Privilege Access Management protocols.
  • Configure SIEM systems and execute vulnerability management strategies.
  • Implement and manage multi-factor authentication solutions.
