Summary:

We are looking for an experienced International Payroll Manager/Lead who will be responsible for payroll across EMEA & APAC regions. This is an exciting role that will work with HR, Finance, our payroll providers and other relevant functions to lead the international payroll transformation initiatives while managing a team and overseeing daily payroll operations. The successful person will be a key strategy maker for the International payroll operations, will deliver structure, automation and strength to the international payroll team. They will be hands on in its delivery, analytical, and self-driven to achieve project requirements.

This role is a hybrid role based out of London and will report into the Director, Global Payroll.

Payroll Processing:
  • Oversee current/future state business as usual activities, managing a team of International payroll analyst with the daily operations, payroll reviews, and approvals
  • Work with the transformation team implementing the new international payroll processor CloudPay from prior managed services model
  • Oversees the management, documentation and communication of regional payroll programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures appropriate definition of payroll schedules, special processing planning and documentation of business and local requirements.
  • Ensure proper management of regional employee records such as tax documents, employee files, and year-end tax documents
  • Have a sound knowledge of international benefits and how they impact payroll
  • Understand current operations and identify areas of opportunity and incorporate process improvement within existing processes
  • Assist with providing direction, training, and coaching to payroll team members
  • Work with internal teams on the management and data validation for all internal and external integrations, investigate data feed issues and implement on-going reconciliation processes
Compliance:
  • Work with payroll vendors clearing up tax notices, and regulatory reporting requirements across our international jurisdictions, including year-end processes and reporting
  • Stay updated with local payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across all international countries.
  • Ensure all adjustments and shadow payroll relating to our Ex-Pat employees are processed timely and correctly, working with our partners on any additional reporting or tax payments as required.
  • Ensure all year-end required are reconciled and processed ensuring accurate and timely tax forms are generated
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, as well as annual SOX requirements
Collaboration and Communications:
  • Create positive relationships with Finance, HRIT, HRBP's and other key functions to ensure holistic delivery of payroll outcomes.
  • Assist employees with questions relating to payroll ensuring proper resolutions to inquiries, and ensuring exemplary employee experience
  • Work with pension administrator to assist with queries / changes in pension plans
  • Work with internal teams regarding M&A integrations and population migrations to mirror company policies and processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Sound working knowledge of managing complex, global payrolls.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as Oracle, ADP or Cloudpay.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience in equity compensation and global mobility
  • Comfortable ensuring service levels are met whilst maintaining strong relationships and an accurate payroll function.
  • Understand multi-jurisdiction payroll and tax withholding compliance obligations
  • Multi-jurisdiction transformation experience
  • CIPP preferred but my no means essential.
