The role necessitates Phlebotomy Competency and Lead Experience, supervision of Healthcare Support Workers, and timesheet approval. Prioritizing care excellence, meeting governance targets, and ensuring seamless services are pivotal. Additionally, the position involves supernumerary tasks, staff attendance oversight, and direct reporting to the Chief Nurse. As the primary escalation point for operational issues, duties encompass health metric reviews and scheduling management. An online portal streamlines proactive diary management through availability uploads.
Requirements
NMC Registration
Right to work in the UK
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with Band 6 or above qualification.
Phlebotomy competency is compulsory.
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
