Cover Supervisor A high achieving secondary school in Harrow are looking to secure a long term Cover Supervisor to start asap on an ongoing assignment. The school The school are an outstanding 11 - 18 Co-educational community school committed to delivering excellent academic success. The school has traditional values coupled with a modern approach to learning and to ensure all their student develop into confident ambitious learners. They have a unique curriculum with provides a solid platform for Post16 study offering a wealth of opportunities to develop a lifelong passion for learning. The school offers their staff great CPD training and a clear path for progression. Cover Supervisor The school are looking to secure a long-term Cover Supervisor who can commit to five days per week on a long-term basis. The role is to cover all absent needs at the school and therefore the successful candidate will need to be happy teaching all subjects. The role of a Cover Supervisor Supervising the cover work set by the absent teacher Ensuring the children have the required resources and knowledge to complete the work set by the teacher Managing the behaviour of pupils during the lesson to ensure all work is completed to a high standard Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher/department.What experience do you need to apply for the Cover Supervisor position: Experience of working within a school setting (ideally Secondary) Bachelors Degree/Equivalent (desired) An up-to-date DBS, ideally registered with the update service Two teaching related references from last two employerIf you would be interested in the above role and would like to apply, please respond back with an updated CV.
