OT Automation Engineer

  • Circa £50,000
  • Monday-Friday days only role

Person Requirements for the OT Automation Engineer:
  • Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND/NVQ L3
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience
  • In depth knowledge of cyber security and OT (Operational Technology) solutions - all related to manufacturing infrastructure
  • Applied knowledge of automated process equipment and control systems
  • Experience with Firewalls, IDS, IPS, SCADA and security systems concepts
Job Requirements for the OT Automation Engineer: Working as an OT & Automation Engineer, you will be contributing to the preventative maintenance plan by developing medium and long term solutions to defects.
  • Responsible for all infrastructure to protect the site for the future for digitalisation, new automation, and new equipment
  • Management of all site automation equipment including PLC’s, invertors, WinCC SCADA & HMI, servers and more
  • Biased towards network and cyber security
  • Leading site automation engineering agenda including IT and operational technology
  • Leading upgrade projects on site infrastructure
  • Documenting and updating drawings and specifications for engineers
  • Working with site hardware and software
