A leading software and technology business is seeking a highly experienced executive transformation leader with a particular strength in digital transformation, in order to define and lead short term and longer term transformation horizons within the group.

With a high level of executive exposure whilst leading a small team, this person must be a strong communicator and influencer, able to galvanise support for initiatives and able to deliver through others.

VP Digital Transformation:

The VP Digital Transformation plays a critical role in setting the transformation outcomes for the business, establishing narrative, cadence, and momentum to deliver change at scale. Accountable for driving and overseeing digital transformation outcomes, accelerating end-to-end digitization, and partnering with Technology and Business leadership.

  • Focusing on both current transformation and shaping future horizons, operating strategically to plan, define, design, and monitor high-priority digital outcomes.
  • Partnering and challenging Senior Leadership and external stakeholders to define vision, scope, objectives, and benefits of Digital Transformation Projects.
  • Acting as a strategic partner, helping unblock issues, consult on change, advise on execution, and drive transformation pace.
  • Leading the Transformation Office to be relentlessly focused on outcomes, creating simplicity in a complex environment, and possessing expertise across Strategy, Technology, Corporate Finance, and Transformation.

Skills, know-how and experience:

Financial Analysis:

  • Proficient in financial modeling for decision-making and transformation planning
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Expertise in quantifying and developing transformation business cases within corporate finance context

Technical Acumen:

  • Awareness of emerging technologies like AI and their impact on industries
  • Ability to understand software and related technologies and translate technical knowledge into business language
  • Visionary leadership in digital transformation, inspiring others with a clear technological vision

Strategic Acumen:

  • Effective at aligning corporate strategy with future landscape, utilizing compelling visuals and slides
  • Understanding of competitive landscape and identification of differentiation opportunities
  • Ability to anticipate and plan for future scenarios to enhance strategic resilience

Transformation:

  • Outcome-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Understanding of the businesses current operations, future vision, and strategy
  • Experience working with senior leaders and managing stakeholders
  • Leadership in multi-disciplinary teams in virtual environments
  • Strong coaching and mentoring abilities
  • Proven track record of delivering successful business outcomes through transformation initiatives
  • Expertise in project management, change management, and business analysis, managing multiple projects simultaneously
