Credit/Leveraged Finance Lawyer

Prestigious investment bank seeks in a newly created role a talented lawyer to support the credit investing business with a strong emphasis on transaction support and execution for debt deals. The role will involve working on a wide range of credit transactions from mid-market direct lending activity to large-sized leveraged deals, structured credit investments and opportunistic credit, though coverage may also include restructurings and lending deals across the wider business. You will adviseon transaction structuring and negotiation of deal documentation as well as having extensive interaction with investment professionals across the bank.

This role would be well suited to a lawyer with one to five years post qualification experience and will most probably be working in a leveraged finance/acquisition finance practice or alternatively be a restructuring lawyer with general banking and exposure of financing structures across the capital structure.

The legal team working in this area is highly regarded within the industry and well thought of within the business. It is a front facing role working closely with the business.
