We are a friendly team of around 100 employees based on the Riverside Industrial Estate in Market Harborough. We are looking for a general handyperson for facilities and maintenance work around our factory and head office. This will be a varied and busy role reporting into the Engineering and Maintenance Manager. You will need a variety of skills and be prepared to work outside from time to time. A driving license is required due to the need to carry out occasional deliveries or visit suppliers. Duties: Grounds maintenance Providing general upkeep of the site buildings and grounds Painting and decorating Furniture building and relocation Assisting with office moves Ensure all tools are maintained and kept securely, only used by authorised personnel Ad hoc duties as required Essential Skills: Experience of grounds maintenance equipment such as petrol mower, strimmer, shears etc An awareness of working safely to protect self and others Painting and decorating to a high standard Experience of using power hand tools (drill, grinder etc) Full driving license Desirable criteria: Small scale building skills Fork Lift Truck license Building skills and carpentry Hours of work 7am-4pm or 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7am-12 noon or 8am-1pm on a Friday.
