The Analyst will be responsible for the operational activities that arise from the secured funding programmes such as securitisations, warehouse lines and forward flow agreements. You will work in the team that actions the daily tasks associated with such programmes and the produces the required servicer and investor reporting. You will support Capital Markets in the establishment of secured funding programmes.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the company's adherence to the eligibility criteria and concentration limits within these secured funding programmes.

Reporting to the Head of Secured Funding, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of secured funding documentation and operations, a capacity to develop and embed processes that deliver efficient outcomes, strong risk culture ethos, be an expert on Excel and who shows commercial knowledge in this field.

Role Description
  • Monthly/quarterly servicer and investor reporting for secured funding programmes
  • Allocation of mortgage loans to different funding sources in line with agreed internal criteria
  • Provision of notices to funding partners
  • Control of daily cashflow movements
  • Support the establishment of the operational structures
  • Monitoring of adherence to the eligibility criteria and concentration limits documented within each funding programme
  • Support management of the relationship with the operational teams in funding counterparties
  • Support the development & maintenance of strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provision of support to key initiatives
Role Requirements
  • A proven self-starter with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • In depth knowledge of secured funding and cash management
  • Process improvement experience
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Financial Control experience such as month end reporting and reconciliations
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Financial services experience – securitisations or mortgages
  • Demonstrable experience of secured funding within a financial services environment
  • Knowledge of treasury and financial systems
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel – experience of building and streamlining excel work files
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Pro-active and ability to work efficiently on their own

This person will play a key role in driving the strategy of Treasury going forward and will be responsible for implementing and driving change and improvement projects

This Treasury Advisory team works with a wide range of companies and is especially focused on businesses that are restructuring or refinancing their debt.

The team provides deep financial and treasury experience in financial products and markets, risk management, and treasury best practice activities. Part of this team is the Hedging Advisory and Derivative Execution team, which provides expertise on Currency and Interest Rate risks.

They help clients to quantify their financial risks, define appropriate risk management priorities and objectives, structure suitable hedging strategies, and optimise the derivatives execution process to achieve efficiency and savings.

The Treasury Analyst will support all aspects of treasury operational activities. This includes assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company and actively managing the liquidity and cash forecasting reporting consolidation process.
