Bioanalytical Scientist

We are currently looking for a Bioanalytical Scientist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Bioanalytical Scientist you will be responsible for small and large molecule LC-MS bioanalysis to support early drug discovery activities.

This is an initial 12 month contract with likely extension.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Bioanalytical Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Bioanalytical Scientist, you will be experienced in LC-MS and LC-HRMS. Examples of specific analytical tools are ideally Sciex LC-MS/MS and Thermo Q-Exactive HRMS.

2. As the Bioanalytical Scientist, you will have worked as a Bioanalytical Scientist within a Pharmaceutical company or CRO.

3. As the Bioanalytical Scientist, you will be working with large and small molecule projects (Experience with both are ideal but small molecules experience is a must).

4. As the Bioanalytical Scientist, you will have strong working knowledge of analytical software packages such as Analyst, XCalibur, Discovery Quant, Compound Discoverer) and automation platforms (e.g. Hamilton).

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Bioanalytical Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Pharmaceutical/ Bioanalytical related discipline.

2. Proven industry experience working as a Bioanalytical Scientist, working with LC-MS and other analytical tools, such as Sciex LC-MS/MS and Thermo Q-Exactive HRMS.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Small and Large Molecules (At least Small Molecule experience is essential).
