You will be responsible for all cash management and delivering all statutory, tax and regulatory reporting for the business. A subject matter expert in financial reporting and financial control you will confidently lead and develop our transactional finance team.
Responsibilities
Leadership and development of accounts payable and accounts receivable team
Lead on working capital and reviewing cash performance for the business.
Responsible for cash management and cash forecasting for the business
Responsible for reconciliation of intercompany balances, balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations to agreed month end timetable.
Responsible for the preparation of all statutory, tax and regulatory reporting
Responsible for monitoring and improving the internal financial control environment
Proactive in improving processes, and business models.
Ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
Able to display company values: Respect, Aspire, Courage, One Team, Diversity
Strong communicator at all levels in all formats
Self - starter who can balance and prioritize multiple requirements at once.
Experience
~5 years ' experience in a similar role
~ Strong accounting standards knowledge
~ Experience of preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and filing tax returns
~ Experience working with an ERP system and ability to pick this up easily.
~ Experience of invoice discounting and asset finance
~ Confident in Excel and spreadsheet modelling.
~ ACA/ACCA or equivalent
