Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Classroom Cover Supervisor to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools across the Blackpool area for a start in immediately.. About the role Have you worked with children in a previous role? Have you worked as a sports coach and would now like to gain experience of working in a school setting? Are you looking to get into teaching? The desired Cover Supervisor be working within a school environment and be supervising pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), providing flexible support to cover short-term staff absence. Delivering pre-planned lessons, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get into teaching or working within a school. This is role has a flexible starting position and can be either ad-hoc, short term or ongoing long-term position for what ever suits your availability. About the school We work with a number of schools across the Blackpool area that require support within the classroom. Requirements To be considered for the role of Classroom Cover Supervisor you will: Have a passion for working with children Great classroom management skills Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching Ideally a degree, but this is not essential Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service. Salary £75 to £95 per day Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
