Private Client Legal Assistant

JS Legal Recruitment are working with a prestigious Legal 500 Law Firm with multiple offices in Essex. Employing over 100 staff due to continued growth, my client is recruiting for an experienced Private Client Legal Assistant to join their busy Private Client Team.

As a Private Client Legal Assistant you will provide administrative support to one or more lawyers. Assisting with Wills, Probate and administration of Estates, Powers of Attorney, trusts, estate planning and the court of protection.

Providing typing and administration support to one or more lawyers

* Working under your own initiative having day to day conduct and administration of Wills and Probate cases

* Drafting legal documents, including Wills and probate applications , Estate Accounts

* The position would suit a Private Client Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or Paralegal who wants more autonomy

* You will be fully conversant with all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel

* 20 days holiday, gradually rising to 25, plus Bank Holidays

* Pension

* Working from home and agile working policy

* “Dress for your day “ policy

* Death in service benefit

* Hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5.15 pm, part time also considered ( Minimum 4 days per week )

* Friendly office environment
