As a Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth transition as our client separates from their current organisation. Your ability to deliver work packages within budget while exceeding customer expectations will be crucial in progressing the transition activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Separation: Conduct a comprehensive review of the site's core data assets, including current data requirements, required applications and their ownership, and necessary data/documentation to be removed or brought on-site.

- Asset Management: Evaluate site assets and report on findings, determining what will be included in the divestiture.

- 3rd Party Management: Review and assess 3rd party agreements and suppliers to identify any contracts that may require novating.

- Build Back: Create and review current engineering best practises, policies, procedures, and standard work, ensuring seamless transfer and addressing any potential losses.

What our client is looking for:

  • Energy and drive, with a tenacious and resilient attitude when faced with challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong working relationships both independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivation, focus on results, and a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a structured and efficient approach.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in project management within a Design and Development environment.
  • Proven track record of leading projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

Join a team of passionate professionals who are dedicated to making a difference. Apply now to become a part of our client's ongoing success story. Please note that successful candidates will undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check, including criminal record checks.

At our client's organisation, safety is a top priority. You will be expected to adhere to their Cardinal rules and site-specific safety requirements, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.
