Role DescriptionAs part of the Inspection and Test Team at Capula, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing equipment to ensure safety and functional operation. Testing is done using electrical schematic drawings and project-specific Hardware Test Specifications provided by the Hardware Engineer. This role involves customer acceptance testing and occasional site work.
Test Activities Include:- Point to point wiring checks
- Equipment build and configuration inspection
- LVD electrical safety checks
- Earth bond continuity test
- High voltage withstand test
- Insulation resistance test
- Power up, fusing, and equipment functionality checks
- Any other equipment-specific tests as detailed in the project hardware test specification
Equipment Technologies: PLC-based automation control panels, IT cubicles, peripheral equipment including printers and scanners.
Essential RequirementsThe ideal candidate must be experienced in testing wired assemblies, able to read circuit diagrams, implement test procedures, and maintain test documentation. Essential requirements include operational knowledge of electrical components, proficiency in using electronic multi-meters, and working within an ISO 9001 compliant system.
Educational RequirementsApplicants should possess a nationally recognized technical qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline. Personal qualities required include the ability to work independently, conform to Health and Safety practices, communicate effectively, and work well in a team.
