Our client, a specialty insurer in the Lloyds market has a unique opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join their HR Business Partnering team on a hybrid basis for a 3 month Fixed Term Contract in London. This role could also be available on a part time basis.
You will be facilitating and managing in house programmes including intern programmes, coaching and mentoring training and DEI programmes.
You will be heavily involved in providing support and guidance to early career talent and you will help co-ordinate the company's talent exchange programme with the parent company.
You will provide day to day management of professional studiers.
You will support on training and talent initiatives and you will lead the way in supporting the selection of the company's apprentice/ grads for 2024 including the co-ordination of assessment centres.
You will also support the Head with project work and new initiatives where required.
The ideal candidate will have experience within an insurance or financial services business and you will have worked in a Learning and Development and/or HR environment previously.
You will have had solid experience in managing early careers programmes, eg apprenticeship and graduate programmes and you will have designed and delivered training, talent and learning and development initiatives.
You should be used to partnering with the business to conduct training needs analysis and you should have solid coaching and facilitation skills.
An understanding of Actuarial, ACII and finance qualifications and study processes would be extremely beneficial in this role, as would an understanding of FSA and other appropriate regulatory body requirements.
