About the Role

The role involves providing on-site support for Assurance assignments, ensuring clients receive top-quality service in every aspect.

Responsibilities

Play a key role in Assurance teams, including leading on-site assignments. Follow pre-assignment instructions and carry out all tasks efficiently and thoroughly in line with firm procedures. Maintain high Assurance quality standards, contributing to both internal and external quality assurance. Immediately report any issues or contentious points to the assignment manager, proposing possible solutions. Provide briefing, supervision, and on-the-job training for less experienced staff. Act as the day-to-day contact for clients, upholding excellent client service principles. Stay informed about the firm's specialist services and publications to add value for clients. Review the work of less experienced staff for completeness and quality, conducting job appraisals. Compare actual time spent with the budget on each assignment and complete review procedures before manager review. Continuously develop technical knowledge through reading and courses, meeting professional CPD requirements. Maintain accurate training records and stay current with examination studies, if applicable. Attend staff meetings and training sessions, and assist with student recruitment, training, and marketing activities as needed. Perform other duties within the scope and purpose of the job as required by the Line Manager or Head of Department.

Requirements

ACA or ACCA part-qualified, or equivalent. Experience with Assurance tasks in a professional services firm. Proven client handling skills and the ability to produce high-quality Assurance work. Experience with analytical review approaches is desirable.
