Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced multi skilled Service Van Technician who is able to work on both light and commercial vehicles to join our team. As a Service Van Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing various types of vehicles in both workshop and roadside conditions. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work on all types of vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to established guidelines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Weld and fabricate parts as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure optimal performance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Van Technician or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Valid driver's license

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and requirements. The Service Van Technician may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.

*Please note*: Due to the type of industry we are in this is *NOT* a Monday to Friday role, it will include evenings and weekends as part of an ON-CALL roster, please don't apply if you cannot do this
