Rattaché(e) à une de nos Business units commerciale, le/la Category Manager a une position centrale de l’entreprise, il définit une stratégie commerciale et la coordonne en mobilisant différentes ressources autour de lui (Managers, équipes internationales, pricer merchandiser, business analystes, marketing, production, logistique) afin de maximiser les opportunités commerciales et leur potentiel de vente.

Il construit son offre produits en gérant différents business models (nouvelle collection, fin de série, drop shipping), négocie les conditions commerciales et gère un planning de vente quotidien. Il est garant de l’animation des ses stocks et de son bon écoulement, et est garant de la rentabilité de son portefeuille sur lequel il fait des reportings réguliers auprès de la direction.
Il s’appuie au quotidien sur des pricers merchandisers à qui il délègue une partie de l’opérationnel, à savoir le pricing et le merchandising sur site (ranking produits, choix des bannières de ventes etc…). Il est également conseillé par des analystes business et stock dans ses prises de décisions.
Gestion d’un portefeuille de Key Account Outdoor
Gestion et développement des key accounts de la catégorie Outdoor (Randonnée, Alpinisme, Escalade etc.) en collaboration avec l’équipe internationale de business developers
Définition la stratégie commerciale pour ces Key accounts: rdv B2B réguliers, plan d’action annuels, négociations des conditions commerciales, reporting fournisseurs etc.
Garant de l’attractivité de l’offre Outdoor qui légitimise le positionnement multi-spécialiste de PSS
Veille concurrentielle, référencement et scoring des marques référentes selon des critères de taille de marché et de notoriété
Participation à des salons nationaux et européens de l’outdoor
Coordination avec les équipes Sport Pursuit (UK)
Récupération des offres de fin de série, analyse et négociation des conditions commerciales (Mode d’achat, sélection des produits, stocks, prix, conditions de livraison et de paiement)
Gestion des ventes évènementielles et des nouvelles collections
Forecast d’activité : ventes, marge, rentabilité et besoin en capacitaire de production
Coordination et brief aux équipes internepour la mise en ligne de l’offre sur site.
Suivi de la performance des ventes (Sell out, Trafic, conversion, panier moyen, €/visite) et actions correctives
Garant des stocks , de leur animation, de leur écoulement en collaboration avec nos stock analystes
Votre profil
Diplômé bac+5 d’une école de commerce ou d’un niveau universitaire équivalent (formation supérieure commerciale)
Expérience impérative au sein d’un e-commercant ou un distributeur de l’industrie Outdoor.
Connaissance du réseau de distribution français de l’Outdoor
Fort intérêt pour la pratique des sports de montagne
Familiarité avec le monde du e-commerce et ses enjeux
Anglais et français courants, maîtrise du pack office, avec notamment une maîtrise d’Excel avancée
Vos qualités

Esprit analytique, pour prendre les bonnes décisions commerciales
Capacité à mobiliser, déléguer
Très bon relationnel et esprit d’équipe
