Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Environmental Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in West London. Role Purpose: Excellent career growth opportunity for a technically strong environmental engineer seeking a new challenge in a fast-paced environment, executing the environmental design of a range of facilities including traditional energy and energy transition projects. Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that projects are in compliance with state, federal, and country environmental regulations.
  • Manage environmental engineering scope including water & industrial wastewater treatment and drainage philosophy.
  • Review permit material for air and effluent emission compliance.
  • Develop environmental design basis, process flow diagrams and equipment datasheets.
  • Attend of key meetings such as P&IDs review, HAZOP, and 3D model review and providing environmental input.
  • Compile technical lists and inventories such as emissions and effluents summaries.
  • Deliver excellent quality work, showing thoroughness and rigour in checking and attention to detail.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Essential:
  • Hold a recognized degree in environmental, chemical/process or mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Display excellent knowledge of technical theory, engineering principles, good engineering practices and how to apply them for design execution.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision showing a high degree of professionalism.
  • Have familiarity with major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design, quality, or processes.
  • Be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) or show willingness to complete.
Desirable Any of the following experience is considered as important for this role:
  • Working in EPC industry and with large-scale project execution.
  • Working on Conceptual and FEED projects.
  • Assessing of air emissions from industrial sources.
  • Design of water/industrial wastewater systems.
