Lecturer/Sr Lecturer in Mechatronics, Control and Autonomous Systems

This is a career-defining opportunity at the heart of a department that promotes problem-based learning and interdisciplinary work with excellent facilities. You will work with a talented team to deliver a vibrant real-world education, delivering and assessing a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules for the degrees taught within the department.

You will be expected to contribute to some of the following subject areas: Mechatronic systems, Robotics and control, Autonomous systems, Applied artificial intelligence and deep learning and Computer vision.

You will engage actively in applied research and contribute to the University’s objective of securing an outstanding reputation for research-informed teaching, innovation and integrated academic practice. You will also be expected to participate in consultancy, pursuing opportunities that will generate income and support students with placements. You will be expected to engage in pastoral care of a diverse range of students, academic leadership, management and administration and to develop your research potential and professional practice.
