Hours: 37 hrs

Salary: Up to £46,000 based on experience (Opportunity to earn more through standby arrangements. This role comes with a comprehensive benefits package including Bupa Health Cash Plan, eligibility for a company bonus and more)

As a Field Performance Manager within our Water Networks at Southern Water, you will be responsible and accountable for the performance of safe, compliant and cost-efficient operation and maintenance of all assets within a specific geographical area for our water function. You will be accountable for the efficiency, productivity, standards and quality to ensure compliance, serviceability and optimization of treatment assets. As a confident leader, you will have the opportunity to drive team and individual performance in terms of productivity and utilization target achievement whilst ensuring high standards of employee engagement and consultation.

Your key accountabilities will include building, leading and directing a competent and effective team to deliver compliance, levels of service and serviceability targets. You will work on integrating asset processes into water and networks to ensure consistency to asset issues, drive data improvements and inform the business plan to ensure consistency and efficiency of operation. Due to the operational requirement, your role will be key monitoring safety processes and procedures are followed and ensure that the team comply with the requirements of Health and Safety as set out by Southern Water and review of ISO14001 requirements within the operational area to ensure the team comply with the required regulations. You will also liaise closely with external contractors on works affecting our sites to ensure all standards and procedures are consistently followed, therefore one of your key strengths will be collaboration

To be successful in this role, it is essential for you to have experience in managing a team to drive optimum results to deliver high levels of performance. Water experience is desirable; however, it is essential for you to have good technical operational knowledge on processes and the ability to analyze management information and understand what the drivers are and identify problems. As a great problem solver, you are able to make decisions in a pressuring environment using your strong management and leadership skills. Working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, you will have a passion to collaborate with strong influencing skills to achieve our desired results of providing a high quality of service for our customers.
