Hays Social Care are currently recruiting for Senior Children Residential Support Workers on behalf of a client based in Newark. This will involve supporting and caring for young people with challenging behaviour, English Language, EBD and other related challenging behaviours.


All staff at the homes actively promote family contact as appropriate and agreed in the care plan. Providing high quality care to children and young people, identifying needs and preferences for each individual Establishing positive relationships with young people Ensuring that each young person’s care plan is followed and amended as appropriate to reflect their changing needs Providing one to one care and support, day to day activities, days out and group trips Ensuring children and young people are given opportunities to achieve their full potential and offer support and encouragement for daily living Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural and educational needs of young people Acting as a role model and demonstrating appropriate pro-social ways of dealing with problems
A minimum of six months experience in social care Proof of right to work in the UK Full driver’s license and access to a vehicle (desirable)
