Monday - Friday 8.A fantastic Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Liverpool (L1) requires a talented teaching assistant, with a minimum of 6 months experience working in an educational establishment. Team-Teach training would be beneficial but not essential

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students on a one-to-one basis with curriculum support as well as in small groups with class-based activities.

The school supports pupils in Key stages 3 and 4 who display challenging behaviour and have a variety of SEND including EBD and SEMH. The post is for 5 days per week with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

The school offers ongoing support and guidance and a fantastic welcoming team who provide ongoing support and guidance and are dedicated to meeting the needs of their students.

As a Teaching Assistant / TA, it is essential that you have the following:

Knowledge of working with pupils with challenging behaviour.
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
