VAT Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Provide guidance and support to clients on VAT-related queries and issues. Stay updated on changes in VAT legislation and implement necessary adjustments to client's processes. Confirmation Statements: Oversee the timely preparation and submission of confirmation statements for clients. Ensure that all required information is accurately reflected in the confirmation statements and filed with Companies House. Address any discrepancies or issues related to confirmation statements proactively. Financial Reviews: Conduct comprehensive financial reviews for clients, analysing their financial statements, performance metrics, and key indicators. Identify areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization in client's financial processes and practices. Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to clients based on financial review findings. Requirements: Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred. Proven experience in VAT management, year-end accounts preparation, self-assessment tax returns, confirmation statements, and financial reviews. Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders.
