On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Lineside Engineer on an initial 8-month contract. As the Quality Lineside Engineer, you will be supporting the evaluation, coordination, and monitoring of achieved levels of conformity in the product, process and services provided by the Business.Role: Quality Lineside EngineerPay: £30.10 per hour Via Umbrella + 20% Shift AllowanceLocation: BroughtonContract: Monday - Friday, 8 Months contract, Double day shift allowance Week of mornings - 6:00am - 1:10pm, Week of afternoons - 1:30pm - 8:40pmIR35 Status: InsideSecurity Clearance: BPSSResponsibilitiesTo provide specialist Quality support and advice on drawings, parts, processes, and support services, and to independently assure that Quality requirements have been met.Assures that the Quality system is being adhered to within the business by the business through surveillance activities.Assures that certification processes are consistently defined and applied within the business.Coordination and leadership of reported quality / technical issues from business teams and customers, ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventive action is taken by the accountable function through use of multifunctional team activities and that the originator of the issue is informed.To perform initial investigations (e.g., Events, QLB's, NC's) to assess probable root cause, informing the accountable function and ensuring corrective and preventative action is taken (ambition is within one shift) preventative action to be taken through problem solving analysis through multifunctional team activities.To conduct investigations to assess the probable root cause of any deficiency noted during process confirmation activities, informing the accountable function, and ensuring corrective and preventive action is taken.Compile and Present Quality overview to the leadership team within the business areaEssential Skills:Ability to interpret drawings.Ability to problem solve and use associated problem-solving tool sets (PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa etc)Good interpersonal skills - ability to challenge appropriately whilst maintaining strong relationships.Data analysis skills - interpret data sets, graphical data and draw conclusions.Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross functional team membersQuality or engineering based background (desirable) within a major manufacturing industry.If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please send your updated CV to: Natalie Dalkin at Line Up AviationLine Up Aviation has carved its own place in the recruitment of Aviation and Aerospace personnel all over the world for more than 30 years.
