The MuchBetter Wallet allows customers to spend, send, and store money securely, all from their mobile phones with the ability to pair MuchBetter Wearables, such as key fobs, watches, and more to make contactless payments.
Our newest product, MuchBetter Gateway has been designed to power e-commerce performance through localised payment processors.

As Full-stack Developer (PHP/Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript), you will contribute to the development and maintenance of MuchBetter Gateway. You will lead by example, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting, and optimising systems. You will work collaboratively in an Agile environment to meet project deadlines and help drive innovation within the team.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing enhancements, fixing bugs, providing technical support, and collaborating on integrating new payment services into the gateway.

Collaborate with Product Team : Work closely with the Product team to understand user requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable software solutions.
Continuously identify areas for improvement in our systems and implement optimizations to enhance performance and scalability.
Software Maintenance: Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core software applications and databases to ensure strong functionality and performance.
Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile framework to meet project milestones and contribute to iterative development processes.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is advantageous but not required.
Full-stack developer – at least 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and the Laravel framework.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Exposure to Spring Boot or other Java frameworks is advantageous but not required.
