As a Trainee Dental Nurse at our Shepton Mallet practice, you will benefit from: Excellent public transport links and parking, located outside the practice Being part of a hard-working, established and friendly team A dedicated and experienced nurse mentor to help you every step of the way Permanent contract, working 24 hours per week Enjoy a competitive package that allows you to excel in your role and to grow the career that is right for you, including; Starting on £10.70 - £11.44 per hour, progressing to up to £12.49 after qualification Access to ongoing training and development after you qualify Qualification bonus of £500 and professional fees paid annually Recognition for going the extra mile and for loyalty through service Health and well-being benefits; includes a virtual GP service and Employee Assistance Programme Up to 30 days annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), per annum with service Restaurant, gym, and store discounts Life assurance As a Trainee Dental Nurse, your role will include: Learning to support clinicians in delivering a full range of high-quality dental treatments to patients Helping to ensure the smooth running of your surgery and the practice Learning all about infection control procedures and responsibilities within the dental nursing profession Course requirements: You will need to ensure that you can provide evidence of GCSE grade C/4 in English, or equivalent. If you do not hold this or cannot provide evidence, a BKSB English assessment needs to be completed at or prior to interview.
