Lead Technical & Design Engineer - Valves - Position Overview- Sizing valves
- Taking a lead in design engineering
- CAD skills
The Valves Engineer will lead the design and manufacturing process and support the product development of self-acting pressure regulators and pilot-operated control valves using Solid Edge. Create and review valve specifications, calculations, and data sheets in a heavily regulated industry. Deliver project documentation and specifications with clients and colleagues to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance. Selecting and sourcing materials required used in the construction of industrial products. Produce and maintain Engineering drawings and bill of materials to allow manufacture of components. Assisting with the implementation of the engineering document and component system. Ensuring standards are met. Customer Project Management. Application Engineering. Instrumentation. Acting as a pivot between sales and engineering.
Lead Technical & Design Engineer - Valves Position RequirementsExperienced engineer with experience in valves or similar.
Lead Technical & Design Engineer - Valves Position RemunerationSalary dependent on experience but likely £45k-£55k. Flexible hours (core hours 07:00-15:30 but can start later if needed). 37.5-hour week. Hybrid work available (2 days working from home a week). Generous holiday Scheme 25 days a year plus 8 statutory days. Market-leading Pension Scheme. Scope to progress within the company. On-site parking. Sick Pay.
