TXM are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding electrical business who are experiencing continued success within the commercial sector. Specifically, I am looking for a Remedial Electrician to work in commercial properties covering the Basingstoke area, including offices, schools, universities, hotels, retail stores and small industrial units. Working as an Electrician you will be responsible for the following: The Electrician will carry out remedial works following EICR and complete the required minor works/ installation certificates as required, mainly for large commercial organisations Complete installation works on LED lighting upgrades Carry out small installation works in commercial environments Carry out EICR and Emergency light tests as required from time to time All work must be completed in accordance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (18th Edition training will be provided if required) A uniform and company vehicle with fuel card will be provided as regular travel will be required The starting basic salary is £42k with on target earnings reaching up to £45k per year. The hours of work for the Electrician are Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, there will be optional overtime and call out available with occasional weekend work required on an ad-hoc basis. Benefits include a company van, fuel card, holiday allowance, pension contribution & the opportunity to progress within the company. Requirements: Must hold appropriate qualifications and have previous experience of testing in a similar environment C&G 2391 or 2394/95 is essential C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) Level 3 in Electrical installations 18th edition Full current driving license You will have a positive attitude, a flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to clients' needs Ability to work unsupervised, use your initiative and have a good attention to detail You will enjoy a varied working pattern as some works will be required out of hours or occasionally at weekends If you are an Electrician, looking for a new permanent opportunity to start ASAP, please apply and I will get in touch shortly.
