Are you seeking a new role with an ambitious construction company, in the heart of Cardiff?

My client is seeking a Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to join their Sout Wales based team on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will support the continued growth of the business by ensuring a high standard of quality and compliance across all projects.

Duties:

  • Manage and drive improvements in health and safety

  • Promote and share best practice across our offices

  • Conduct regular audits in accordance with the quality management system

  • Provide ongoing training to ensure all projects are carried out to the desired standard

  • Coach and mentor colleagues to support their continuous development

  • Provide feedback to the supply chain to consistently improve quality and development of systems

  • Control budgeted expenditure and effective management of relevant costs

  • Assist in the improvement of processes and systems to maximise output and productivity

  • Ensure the environment operates at the highest standards of professionalism and safety

Qualifications/Experience:

Candidates will preferably be educated to a degree standard or equivalent, ideally in a construction or engineering discipline

The successful candidate will have the following skills;

  • Excellent organisational skills with a meticulous eye for detail

  • The ability to positively influence colleagues in operations and drive change where necessary

  • A sound knowledge of IT systems

  • First rate verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly self-motivated and innovative
