We dedicate ourselves to broadening the realms of human potential, and we are actively seeking an enthusiastic and devoted Software Engineer to join our pioneering team located in Oxford. In this role you will build software solutions for the automation of super-resolution microscopy, image analysis to enable non-expert scientists to gain rapid and actionable insights using super-resolution across academic research, drug development, and diagnostics
Build solutions for scientists to automate their acquisition and analysis
Design and implement algorithms, specializing in point-cloud and image analysis. Maintain scientific rigor and correctness of new and existing techniques while making the user experience as fast and easy as possible
Take full ownership of the development lifecycle for key tools and features for acquisition and analysis, from research and development to deployment and production, ensuring seamless integration into customer workflows
Mentor the team in understanding microscopy context and best practices in software engineering
Focusing on rapid delivery of valuable solutions without sacrificing quality
Continuously update knowledge on the latest developments in fluorescence microscopy, state of the art algorithms, methodologies, and software tools, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of technological advancements
Effectively communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including software engineering, product management, bioware, chemistry, and hardware ensuring seamless integration and alignment of goals across all departments
Familiarity with software development best practices
High level of professional Python programming skills
Experience using machine learning solutions for microscopy applications
