London - Hybrid

My client is a rapidly-growing, UK based beauty brand known for their premium quality hair and skin care products. They are looking for a Social Media Manager to join the team as they continue to expand their reach globally.

As Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in driving the brand’s community growth and influence through social platforms and content creation. As Social Media Manager you will blend your creativity, analytical skills, and deep understanding of social media and social commerce to elevate the brand and content to the next level, particularly on platforms such as TikTok.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the face of the brand – Develop, create, and curate unique, engaging, and relatable content for the different platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest
  • Attend events and produce live social media content
  • Manage and grow the global community by responding to messages, inquiries, and comments
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, identifying opportunities for creative content or new social platforms
  • Collaborate with the wider team to develop and manage the social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy and calendar
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics

As Social Media Manager, you must be confident and enthusiastic with the ability to inject your personality into content, whilst maintaining a consistent tone of voice for the brand across all channels.

This is a great opportunity for a passionate content creator and social media specialist who is comfortable being in front of the camera and can produce engaging content that stands out against competitors.

Skills:

  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest) and social media management tools
  • Experience using video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Experience with Canva and a plus would be Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools
  • Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Knowledge/Experience of the beauty industry (hair and/or skin care) desirable
