We are proud to be working with one of the biggest independent care providers in the UK. They are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Unit Nurse Manager (RMN) to join their well-established care home in Southport, PR9 8BL . As a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health) at our client's care home, youll use your compassion and initiative to make sure our client's residents get the quality care they deserve. Well look to you to plan, manage and monitor the delivery of the highest quality nursing and mental health care. Youll assess the needs of your residents and implement people-centred care plans that make a real difference to our client's residents day-to-day lives. As part of your wide range of responsibilities, youll plan rotas, recruit, train and mentor staff and build strong relationships with local regulators and social services. As a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health), youll have the freedom and autonomy to take your unit from strength to strength, with plenty of opportunities for professional development along the way.
To join as a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health), youll be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with a current NMC registration. Experience providing care for older people and those with dementia is important, as is a successful track record of well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments. Well also look for an up-to-date knowledge in the most recent clinical practices and an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. Youll be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. Dedicated, ambitious and resilient, youll have a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
