Production Manager Location : Overseeing and owning our entire Production (via 3rd party sub-contract manufacturers), including Stock, Planning, Logistics & Purchasing and then Order Fulfilment.
Working closely with Sales to develop a robust production schedule ensuring customer orders can always be fulfilled in a timely manner.
Ensure customer orders are completed on time to budget to the required quality, then ensuring these orders are delivered as promised.
Analyse production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
Responsible for carrying out continual improvement activities to reduce cost and improve quality.
Owning various elements of the company QMS to maintain ISO 9001 accreditation, including documentation creation of SOPs, COSHH, Risk Assessments.
3 years Production Management including Stock, Planning and Product Life cycle Management (PLM), and Order Fulfilment.
~ Minimum 5 years of experience of Production Management (to include electronics and assembly) including Stock, Planning and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Order Fulfilment.
~ People management including training and maintaining PDR for employees.
~ Management of sub-contract suppliers and vendors, including undertaking audits.
~ Knowledge of PLM software.
~ Ability to communicate clearly to senior management.
