We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Supervisor to join our Rail team in Doncaster.

This role is to assist the Renewals Managers in the planning and safe delivery of Track Renewals work packages in compliance with the appropriate Network Rail Group and Line Standards and Safety Legislation within the agreed financial contractual

Our Central Rail Systems Alliance offers the unique opportunity to work with partner organisations across the rail industry. Bringing together knowledge and experience in critical rail infrastructure and track renewals, the alliance deploys innovative working methods to realise efficiencies and create a more reliable railway infrastructure.

Be responsible for the detailed planning and execution of Track Renewals Works as allocated by the Renewals Manager;

Be responsible for planning and directing the activities of Site Supervisors and track staff;

Be responsible for ensuring all works undertaken comply with contract specifications and Network Rail Group and Line Standards;

Support the Senior Renewals Manager in delivering the Alliance Programme as required;

Ensure track inspections are undertaken as stipulated in Network Rail Line Standards;

Ensure adequate provision of welfare facilities;

Procure tool, materials, small plant, lights etc for contracted works;

The following qualities/experience are essential:

Demonstrable experience in Permanent Way maintenance/track

Strong knowledge of financial controls;

Good IT, communication and man management skills;

PTS and COSS.
