Job Title: Teacher of ICT (Part-Time, Immediate Start)

Are you a passionate ICT educator looking to make a difference from the comfort of your own home? British Online School is seeking a dedicated and experienced ICT Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, starting immediately on Monday, 9th September. This remote position involves teaching ICT for 9 hours per week during school hours, catering to both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (ages 11-16).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective ICT lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students through our online platform, following the British Online School's curriculum.
  • Create a supportive and interactive virtual learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational experience.
  • Utilise your own devices and technology to facilitate smooth and effective online teaching sessions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in ICT or a related field.
  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching ICT to students aged 11-16, preferably in an online setting.
  • Strong communication and virtual classroom management skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and the ability to use your own devices for teaching.
  • Ability to start immediately on Monday, 9th September.
