Group Reporting Manager - Contract - Outside IR35 - London - Hybrid Lorien is currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Manager, to join our client on a 6-month contract and play a key role in our client's Group's finance department, to ensure financial information complies with accounting standards, regulations and reporting requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing technical expertise to support the financial operations and decision-making processes to assist the Group in meeting its financial objectives.
Provide expert technical accounting advice on complex and judgmental areas and prepare clear and concise technical accounting papers on issues such as goodwill and impairment, consolidation, dormant accounts, going concern and viability.
Knowledge of the Group consolidation process, navigating the complexities of multiple currencies, jurisdictions, and accounting standards to deliver accurate and timely financial statements.
Contribute to the Group's half year report and annual consolidated financial statements.
Ensure compliance with external audit requirements, maintaining documentation of accounting policies and procedures to maintain statutory requirements.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience and background in audit.
Proven experience in financial reporting and team supervision.
Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
