My client, a research and development company specialising in the use of composite materials to produce high performance structures based in Chippenham, are currently looking for a Composite Production Technician to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a young, dynamic, and forward-thinking company where you will be more than just an employee, but an integral part of an ambitious future. The company also runs a 9-day working fortnight offering a 3 day weekend every other week The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have strong communication skills, encompassing a professional attitude with integrity and team spirit. They are looking for someone adaptable and passionate about their work as wel as able to be a role model and champion things on the shop floor. Strong manufacturing background and assembly experience are necessary for this position. Key Duties:

  • Composite assemblies
  • Working to specific Production Process Procedures
  • Adherence to QHSE policy and practices
  • Excellent housekeeping within the production facility
  • Suggesting potential process improvements which will increase yield or reduce cost
Essential:
  • Manually dexterous with the hands
  • Experienced in working in a low/medium volume manufacturing operation
  • Meticulous and quality-focused
