Job Description

Title: Head of Cloud Service Design

About theCompany:

About theRole:

The Head ofCloud Service Design will lead the development and implementation of innovativecloud service designs, ensuring that our cloud offerings meet both thetechnical and business requirements of our clients. This role requires acreative and technically adept leader who can bridge the gap between technologyand user experience, driving the design of user-centric cloud solutions.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the cloud service designstrategy, ensuring it aligns with the business's objectives and customerneeds.
  • Lead the design of scalable and secure cloudservices, integrating the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers,and marketing teams to translate business needs and customer feedback intotechnical requirements and service designs.
  • Work closely with the IT architecture andoperations teams to ensure that the service designs are feasible and canbe seamlessly integrated into existing systems.

3. UserExperience and Innovation :

  • Champion the integration of user experience(UX) design principles into all cloud services to ensure they areuser-friendly and meet market demands.
  • Drive innovation in cloud service offeringsthrough research and application of emerging technologies andmethodologies.

4. QualityAssurance and Best Practices :

  • Establish and maintain design standards,templates, and policies to ensure consistency and quality in all cloudservice designs.
  • Oversee the implementation of best practicesin service design and delivery, including service level agreements (SLAs)and performance metrics.

5. TeamManagement and Development :

  • Lead and mentor a team of service designersand cloud architects.
  • Foster a collaborative and empowering teamenvironment that encourages growth, accountability, and exceptionalservice delivery.

6. StakeholderManagement :

  • Engage with key stakeholders to gatherrequirements, deliver updates, and align service design strategies withbroader business objectives.
  • Effectively communicate service designconcepts and decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

RequiredSkills and Qualifications:

· Experience with Agile and Scrummethodologies.

· Proficiency in design andprototyping tools.

· Knowledge of compliance andsecurity standards relevant to cloud services.

Certifications:

· Certifications in servicedesign, user experience, or cloud computing (e.g., ITIL, Certified CloudProfessional) are preferred.

Experience:

· Minimum of 10 years in IT andservice design, with substantial experience in cloud services.

· Proven track record of leadingservice design projects, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.

· Strong understanding of cloudcomputing technologies, architecture, and industry trends.

· Exceptional skills in servicedesign and user experience, with a portfolio demonstrating past work.

· Leadership and team managementskills with the ability to inspire and direct a diverse team.

· Excellent problem-solvingcapabilities and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

· Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functionalteams.
