Kinetic are seeking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled/Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role in Bolton.
To provide engineering resource to support the efficient manufacturing of quality bakery goods in a safe and cost-effective manner.
The Multi Skilled Engineer's duties will include (but are not in any way limited to):
# To complete planned maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs, installation and modification to plant and services.
# Maintain and repair plant and equipment to high Engineering, Quality, Safety and Hygiene standards.
# Ensure all Engineering work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner, in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice, Health and Safety Legislation and current Company Standards.
# Fault diagnose and complete breakdown repairs of process equipment, bakery manufacturing plant, packaging equipment and site services.
# Undertake training and up-skilling programmes as directed by business needs and to keep abreast of technological advancements and maintain skill level.
# You will need to facilitate a speedy response to all plant stoppages and to help plan / implement modifications to new and existing equipment.
# Ensure an in-depth handover is provided to oncoming shift, to include Engineering, manufacturing & warehouse issues.
# Be available to cover for holidays and sickness with appropriate notice.
# You will work as required 5 days over 7 with a Saturday every 1 in 4, shifts are on rotation 6am-2.30pm; Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
