An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Café Deputy Manager to work at The Pavilion, Abbey Park. 

In this role you will be required to deliver a profitable high-quality catering and hospitality service within the café. In addition, you will support the Café Manager in the development of new products, offers and seasonal menus. 

You should possess as a minimum an NVQ level 1 in hospitality & catering and/or professional cooking or proven experience within a customer facing role. A passion for good customer service is essential as is excellent interpersonal skills. 

You will support training and motivating a team to ensure high level of standards are maintained, whilst monitoring costs and sales to maximise the return from the site. Managing food wastage and stock ordering.


The role will require at times working at a 2nd site within Leicester when required. 

£11.67per hour

26.5 hours per week – 5 days over 7 to include alternative weekends and holiday periods, with additional hours during peak periods

Salary £28,161 to £34,614 per annum (pro-rata for part time hours) 

Full time/Part-time hours (Minimum hours considered 18.75 hours per week) worked over a varied shift pattern
early/late/night shift or 12 hour shift patterns including weekends and Bank Holidays

Current NHS pension members can continue in the scheme under LOROS’ direction body status and NHS service will be taken into consideration in relation to annual leave entitlement
