Senior IT Project Manager
IMServ is one of the UKs largest independent energy data management providers. Delivering award-winning services to more customers in more places, meeting industry targets, and becoming a benchmark for excellence.
To manage a portfolio of projects delivering our products to both internal and external customers.
Working with stakeholders across IMServ and our external customer base, own the successful implementation of new software products through to live operation.
Take an outcome focussed approach to project delivery, finding pragmatic ways to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining effective project controls.
Support or own internal project implementation within the Company where appropriate.
Working with the wider Innovations Team, own the delivery of IMServs software products to both internal and external customers.
Define the appropriate plans and then lead the successful delivery of products within agreed time, cost and quality criteria.
Creation of detailed costed project plans that include resource costs.
Take a customer-centric approach to stakeholder management, communication and collaboration, focussing on customer satisfaction while ensuring costs are managed effectively.
Own and manage the devolved budget for each project, proactively identifying and managing potential cost risks.
Quality assure all project deliverables, ensuring they not only meet agreed quality criteria but reinforce and promote our brand and marketing strategies.
Proactively manage Risks, Actions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) within and across the projects effectively.
Production on project status reports setting out the overall position covering RAGs, deliverables, milestones, costs and RAID summary.
Ensure all projects have an effective Post Implementation Review, capturing all lessons learnt and feeding back to the wider Innovations Team opportunities for improvement.
Take a Continuous Improvement approach to Project Management, identifying opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs in our delivery processes.
Proven experience in risk and change management.
Demonstrable stakeholder management flare
Qualification in Project Management or equivalent
Knowledge of project management techniques, both waterfall and agile, and associated tools
Proven experience and understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
Proven experience in project delivery to both internal and external customers.
Proven experience in people management
Strong Stakeholder Management and demonstrable experience in managing/working with internal and external project teams.
