SRE/Linux Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and manage hybrid infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to system performance and stability through root cause analysis and other analytical techniques
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless applications, leveraging containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Ensure system security is maintained and continuously improved

Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of Linux based operating systems
  • Experience in Systems Engineering or a similar position (SRE, DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience designing, building and managing mission-critical infrastructure
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Chef, Terraform, Puppet or Ansible
  • Experience in Containerisation (Kubernetes preferred)
  • In depth knowledge of automation frameworks – including but not limited to automated testing, orchestration workflows, schema modification and Infrastructure-as-a-code principles
  • Knowledge of network technologies, i.e., routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, network and routing protocols, VPN, SDWAN
