Groundwork Foreman

Reed Recruitment (Southampton branch)are recruiting for a groundwork foreman for our client who are a leading Civil Engineering, Surfacing, Building, Drainage and Smalls Work company. The role is initially based on site at a project in Eastleigh
Plan and organize groundworks activities according to project timelines and specifications.
Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine the scope of work and identify potential challenges.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements
Manage the installation of drainage systems, including pipes, culverts, and manholes.
Monitor the installation of foundations and footings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering drawings.
Supervise the placement of concrete and other materials, ensuring proper curing and finishing.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Provide training and guidance to groundworkers, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
Proven experience in groundworks construction, in a supervisory or foreman role.
In-depth knowledge of groundworks techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
You will need a current and valid Blue Skilled Worker CSCS card or above.
