An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established manufacturing company with an ambitious managing director that has more than doubled turnover in the last two years. We are looking for an experienced Operations / General Manager to organise purchasing, planning, production, quality and dispatch according to demand and customer requirements. Advanced communication and computer skills are essential.
Shape this position and organisation and help it grow further.
Overseeing manufacturing and production processes for multiple products by monitoring orders to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
Implement programs for the factory production equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance.
Implementing all the company’s procedures and policies.
Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control.
Training and coaching the production team.
Implementing safety, health, and environment and quality requirements.
A strong character with excellent communication skills who can engage with their team to drive and improve performance levels.
Understanding, delivery and implementation of various production methods and methodologies including; Change management - experience of innovating to improve performance and implementing and embedding change in line with continuous improvement.
Experience With Microsoft Office, Excel and Strong Computer Literacy
Job Type: Full-time Permanent. 00 per year + additional targeted Bonus of £10,000.Individual Bonus scheme implemented after probation period.
