We are looking for a Caretaker to join our Estates Team in Isle of Wight on a Part Time Basis, the role will be working Monday & Wednesday 8:30 - 16:30 and Friday 10:00 - 16:30. This position will be based at St Mary's Hospital in Newport, looking after the keyworker accommodation. The role: As a Caretaker at you'll be making sure customers homes are safe, well maintained and compliant. Responsibilities Carrying out general repairs and maintenance Carry out tasks such as litter picking, rubbish removal and leaf removal Performing joint visits with colleagues from across the business General maintenance tasks Carry out fire risk actions including removing personal items from internal areas You'll be able to manage your time effectively and work well independently using your own initiative. Whilst previous experience would be desirable, full training will be provided along with a van and equipment. A full driving licence and two years driving experience is essential.
